Tips to Help Catch Your Cheating Spouse
By admin | December 10, 2008
People think that cheating spouses always get caught, but this is not true. Most lying and cheating spouses never get found out, even when the other spouse is a good interrogator. Cheating spouses usually get found out in one of two ways:
They are Discovered Accidentally
Most of the time cheating is found by coincidence, or mistake. It happens when a husband or wife comes home from work early, or goes somewhere and comes across the couple. It comes about when an email is discovered, a phone record, etc.
Surveillance and Monitoring
The other way of catching a cheating spouse is by intentionally surveilling or monitoring a spouses actions to find the truth. If you believe your spouse is cheating and want to catch him, you will probably need some type of surveillance system.
This is probably the best way of finding out if there is an infidelity, but it can also cause problems. If your spouse is not cheating, he may be offended from knowing you are monitoring his or her actions.
The following tips will help you figure out whether your spouse is cheating or not:
1. Write down your spouses supposed activities. Write down the places, the dates and the times, and who the spouse is supposed to be with. Then compare what your spouse told you with phone bill, credit card statements, and atm withdrawals. Talk to people he is supposedly with. When a spouse is cheating he or she will change his story, question your memory, and that is why it’s a good idea to keep a record of everything that is said.
2. Start keeping track of incoming calls. Write down the time of the call and the number they come from.
3. Start coming home at unexpected times, and visiting at work without your spouse expecting you. Start telling your spouse that you are going to have to work late, but instead come home early.
4. Check your spouses cell phone call log. Write down the unfamiliar numbers. Check for instant messages that look suspicious.
5. If you can purchase surveillance equipment, and install computer monitoring software, so you can monitor your spouses activity.
6. Don’t tell your spouse until you have evidence. A cheating spouse is waiting for you to be suspicious.
If you suspect your spouse of cheating, the worse thing you can do is confront him. A cheating spouse will never confess, and you will just make them suspicious, and they will change their behaviour if they think you are suspicious. Only confront a spouse when you have evidence.
