The 2008 Odyssey is a third generation model from Honda into the minivan sector. It has a 3.5 L, 244 HP, and V6 engine coupled to an automatic five-speed transmission drive. The cylinders can be managed variably through VCM for improving fuel efficiency. The VCM motor also features an active controlling device for reducing vibration and noise resulting out of cylinder deactivation and engine mount. It can reach from 0 to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds. Odyssey boasts of a mileage of 16 mpg in city conditions and 23-25 mpg in highway conditions, as per the model.
